From: The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition \"\" NOTE: This is NOT on Memory Alpha The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition were originally featured on Deep Space Nine, which aired until May 31, 1999. Only a fraction of the initial 285 Rules were ever directly referenced on the show. The books The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition and Legends of the Ferengi (both written by showrunner Ira Steven Behr), future Star Trek series, and apocrypha have added additional Rules which may not have been approved by The Ferengi Commerce Authority. There are at least 431 Rules as of 2025, some of which conflict with the original 285. I have compiled about 150 individual Rules from Mr. Behr`s books with comparisons to Memory Alpha and will include any appropriate notation where available. This is all just for fun! Besides Galyn Gorg, many other `Trek alumni were in those movies: Peter Weller, Kurtwood Smith, Ronny Cox, Ray Wise, Gabriel Damon, Miguel Ferrer, Stephen Lee, John Glover, Mark Rolston - some of those have been on `Trek more than once. Anyway, this article is about Ms. Gorg... Her first `Trek appearance was as Korena in the excellent DS9 episode The Visitor from season four. Her character would marry (and later divorce) the older Jake Sisko who was played by Tony Todd (I did a Trek/Gate article about him a few weeks ago). She later shows up on Voyager as Nori, an Ilari in the episode where Kes was possessed by Tieran in Warlord. A year later, Gorg was on SG-1 as Kendra, a former goa`uld host on the planet Cimmeria. That episode had to do with Thor`s Hammer (before we meet the Asgard) and dealt with a maze-dwelling Unas voiced by James Earl Jones.  ]]> erickelly https://kellyplanet.com/community/trek-trivia/star-trek-stargate-galyn-gorg/ Deep Space Nine STARSHIP DOWN 4x07 https://kellyplanet.com/community/kellyplanet/deep-space-nine-starship-down-4x07/ Thu, 15 Oct 2026 18:00:40 +0000 \"VIEWVIEW VIDEO POST

This is submarine warfare kind of episode and has not one, not two, but FOUR stories going on at the same time. This is character development maintenance. Quark gets teamed up with the legendary James Cromwell as Hanok. Bashir and Jadzia solidify their friendship. O`Brien and Worf further the idea that Worf isn`t the same guy that we knew from the Enterprise. Kira has never been socially comfortable with Sisko since he is The Emissary in her religion... but...  baseball. I summarize the plot and point out and explain all the references so you don’t have to \"\"

How`s this work? Well... Lenara`s symbiont was married to Jadzia`s symbiont when they were hosted by Nilani and Torias, respectively. This was decades ago. Remember, Torias was tragically killed in a shuttle accident and re-visiting past relationships is a big taboo in Trill society. There is a pretty intense kiss between Terry Farrell and Susanna Thompson (yes I included it) that was rather controversial at the time (1995). The point of this story is about love, not two beautiful women kissing on screen. I summarize the plot and point out and explain all the references so you don’t have to \"\"
