This is submarine warfare kind of episode and has not one, not two, but FOUR stories going on at the same time. This is character development maintenance. Quark gets teamed up with the legendary James Cromwell as Hanok. Bashir and Jadzia solidify their friendship. O`Brien and Worf further the idea that Worf isn`t the same guy that we knew from the Enterprise. Kira has never been socially comfortable with Sisko since he is The Emissary in her religion... but...  baseball. I summarize the plot and point out and explain all the references so you don’t have to \"\"

How`s this work? Well... Lenara`s symbiont was married to Jadzia`s symbiont when they were hosted by Nilani and Torias, respectively. This was decades ago. Remember, Torias was tragically killed in a shuttle accident and re-visiting past relationships is a big taboo in Trill society. There is a pretty intense kiss between Terry Farrell and Susanna Thompson (yes I included it) that was rather controversial at the time (1995). The point of this story is about love, not two beautiful women kissing on screen. I summarize the plot and point out and explain all the references so you don’t have to \"\"

This is the first time we meet Tora Ziyal and Dukat is a Legate now, though I don`t think that`s ever mentioned in the dialogue. There is a hilarious scene between Kira and Dukat... I`m not kidding. Kasidy Yates is thinking about taking a job in the Bajoran Sector and moving into quarters on DS9. Sisko isn`t sure how he feels about that, which makes Kasidy pretty upset, so he seeks the advice of Jake, Dax, Bashir, and Quark. We have to have a \"B Story\", and that is Worf realizing he is no longer the \"cop\" on the show. That`s Odo`s job, and this will work out. The Jem`Hadar...and these THESE Jem`Hadar, wish to be free from Ketracel White and the Dominion. Bashir wants to help them, but O`Brien just want to get back to Federation territory. Lebanon, Charles de Gualle, California baseball... I summarize the plot and point out and explain all the references so you don’t have to \"\"

Holy Crap they got Tony Todd to play \"old Jake\" (he has been Worf`s brother Kurn several times). That`s awesome. Who is \"The Visitor\"?... Andrew Robinson`s (Garak) real-life daughter (and I think a very cute lady) Rachel (I swear she resembles Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, The Expanse, etc.) in modern times and they are both quite attractive in my opinion...her name is Melanie in this show. Now that I have fan-boy`d waay too much... Sisko can`t really be dead, right? Let`s look at subspace field inversions via the wormhole. Am I crazy?

Right off the bat, Gowron tries to get Worf to defect to the Klingon Defense Forces, but nope, Worf`s not even sure he wants to remain with Starfleet - he just wants to retire. The Defiant rescues Dukat and the Detapa Council which makes the Klingons really mad. There is a huge awesome assault on Deep Space Nine which has all kinds of cool weapons we didn`t know about until now. Klingon troops board the station and there`s all kinds of hand to hand combat. This is pretty awesome. I summarize the plot and point out and explain all the references so you don’t have to \"\"

Klingon Chancellor Gowron is convinced that the Cardassian Government has been infiltrated by the Changelings (thanks to General Martok) and has amassed an invasion fleet. Starfleet can`t back the Klingons or warn Cardassia of the threat (despite the treaty or Khitomer Accords), so what to do? Ratings have been lax and we have an opportunity, so how about recruiting Michael Dorn as Worf from TNG!  (the ratings go waaay up). We see Martok for the first time, Garak and Dukat are involved, and the CGI space battles are better than ever. Even better in Part II...hold on. We have a new Ambassador....and Eddington is back Things aren`t going well. Who to blame? There is some crap going down on the Defiant and we need to figure this out before the Federation goes to war with the Tzenkethi. Odo starts some life-changing stuff in this one. We get to experience Lela (Kira), Tobin (O`Brien), Emony (Leeta), Audrid (Quark, lol), Torias (Bashir), Joran (Sisko), and Curzon (Odo) - which is pretty neat. Quark messes with Nog`s test results and Rom gets very angry with him. I had to cut out the B Story entirely (for runtime) because YouTube kept yelling at me. I summarize the plot and point out and explain all the references so you don’t have to \"\"
