Max Headroom was a television character from the late 1980`s. A few years later, the same guy was on Star Trek: TNG. I didn`t realize it when I was a kid, but the voice is kind of obvious to me now.

Very popular for a short time in the 80`s, Max Headroom was presented as an Artificial Intelligence with a Computer Generated Image interface. Computers just weren`t that good back then, so of course Max was portrayed by Canadian-American actor Matt Frewer.

Younger people may recognize the character from Eminem`s 2013 video for Rap God or the cameo in the 2015 film Pixels.

Frewer appeared as the time traveling Burlinghoff Rasmussen on Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1991. I was a kid during that time, but watching old videos on YouTube as an adult makes me realize the voice is unmistakable.

You make also recognize the actor from 2009`s The Watchmen as Moloch, as well as many other credits.

Max Headroom was such a big deal that he was heavily tied-in with major Coca-Cola promotions. You could actually get a Max Headroom cup with a Coke from McDonald`s.

I did. Wow, I feel old.
