There are literally dozens of haunted attractions in any region of the country, and that is a very good thing. As you can see, you have plenty of choices anywhere within a few hundred miles of KellyPlanet. I didn’t even bother with the plethora of Haunted Attractions you will find around New York City or Philadelphia, there are a lot. Here are some recommendations by OctoberTime, check ’em out.
PHANTOM PHRIGHTNIGHTS Elmira, NY
Phantom Phrightnights is the latest incarnation of haunted attractions hosted on the grounds of Bradley Farms. The Ride of Revenge Haunted Hayride, enormous Phantom Farm Manor haunted house has over 30 rooms and the Undead Shootout paintball experience are a blast. Eric Kelly from OctoberTime.com and KellyPlanet did all of their design work …aaaand then they didn’t use it. That’s ok, they’re still cool.
TAGSYLVANIA Big Flats, NY
This place is less than an hour from KellyPlanet and I go there several times each season. Featuring Lecter’s Lair, Psycho Swamp, Jerkus Circus and a lot more. For a regional attraction, Tagsylvania is amazing.
JASON’S WOODS Lancaster, PA
Jason’s Woods has been in operation since 1985 and is the first large-scale haunted attraction I remember visiting. With five main attractions and more entertainment than you’ll find at similar haunts, check out this classic.
FIELD OF SCREAMS Mountville, PA (Lancaster)
For over 20 years, Field of Screams has been bringing Halloween hard-core. They have four main attractions and a large budget – and it shows. This is a top-of-the-line experience.
SPOOKHAVEN Mill Hall, PA
I have been keeping an eye on this dedicated Haunted House for a few years and they get bigger and better every year. Although I have yet to visit personally, it’s on my list.
PENNHURST ASYLUM Spring City, PA
A haunted attraction in a hundred year old former mental institution (technically, a State School for the mentally disabled). Enough said. This place was designed by the guy that created Bates Motel. Yeah.
