April first pranks have been around for a long time and are celebrated all over the world.

This is the first video of my new daily i dunno? series and I’m all logo’d up. Since April fool’s day is coming up, let’s talk about that.

I was going to launch this on the day, but i got stuff done early.

Pulling pranks on April First, in western culture is really old… like maybe as long ago as the 1300’s. This includes pretty much every English speaking country, Spanish speaking country, and most of Europe.

I find it wild that this is also popular in much of the middle east as well. The tradition in Iran goes back some 2500 years.

So why do we do this? I dunno? and there is no one answer. So many people observe this kind of thing all over the world that it really depends on the culture… but they all do it.

Do I celebrate this holiday? Well, people can be really sensitive nowadays, so… no.
