It’s all genetically modified… that’s not always a bad thing.

There are some interesting things about broccoli. I like broccoli, especially with cheese,
but I figured it was you know, just a vegetable.

Like cauliflower, broccoli comes from cabbage. I don’t like either of those. Yeah, turns out broccoli
isn’t naturally occurring. Some dudes in Italy selectively bred it out of cabbage some 2000 years ago.
Like the Roman Empire.

Today, 92% of the broccoli consumed in the United States comes from California.

I didn’t know any of that.
