I always thought Hyenas were like dogs. Because they are. Nope.

I always thought hyenas were a type of canine, you know, like a dog. They look like canines.
They act like canines. Millions of years ago, hyenas were even more dog like than they are now.

We know that because of fossils.

But nope. Hyenas are feliform. Like cats. They are in the same suborder as Mr. Bigglesworth.
