Red emergency exit signs don’t make a lot of sense.

Have you ever been watching your favorite show and noticed that the exit signs look weird… to Americans.
That’s because a lot of shows are shot in either Toronto or Vancouver, and Canada uses green exit signs
instead of red.

Actually by now, Canada has switched to a pictogram, but it’s still green.

And this is how it is all over the world, just not the United States… like the metric system.

Regardless of culture or language, red generally means bad and green good. So it makes sense that
emergency exit signs should not be red, but that’s how we do it.
