The premier of my new ‘Trek video series starts off with Lower Decks! I chose this because it’s current, it references all other ‘Trek canon, and it think it is the most relatable to the most people.

In this first episode, Second Contact, we are introduced to the Lower Decks crew: Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford.

A second contact mission goes wrong, and the first officer turns into a space zombie. Boimler is on special assignment to spy on Mariner, and gets attacked by an elephant-sized spider.

This is not like any Star Trek you’ve seen before, check it out.
