We get our first “holodeck episode”, and it’s not too shabby. The subplot with the Jarada is woefully underused, but that’s what happens when budgets get involved.

Captain Picard assumes the role of Dixon Hill. They treat the holodeck as something new and amazing, though it has been part of the show since the very first episode. No matter, this is pretty good, and will pave the way for shows like Elementary, Dear Data.
