The Enterprise comes across an 85 million year old comet and they decide to… melt it. Inside is an ancient archive that begins to transform the ship and takes over Data with multiple personalities.

Brent Spiner brings us Korgano, Ihat, the murderous Queen Masaka, and other characters. I think this was supposed to be a pretty good episode, but it turned out to be kind of a mess. The final and very anticlimactic showdown has Masaka Data and Korgano Picard wearing ridiculous masks, and I just can’t take it seriously.
