We get to meet the first new species from the Gamma Quadrant and he befriends Chief O’Brien. The alien seems to be hiding something and the only explanation he has is “I am Tosk”.
This is the first ‘Trek appearance for both Tom MacDonald and Gerrit Graham, both of whom we’ll see again. Michael Westmore’s makeup is excellent as always. This is the Star Trek version of The Most Dangerous Game.
