Rutherford’s modified transporter turns Boimler into a phased ghost so he is sent to The Farm with the Federation’s other “freaks”.

Boimler is joined by Tendi and her dog that she created in the genetics lab. Mariner becomes First Officer under Captain Ramsey. The U.S.S.   Rubidoux gets destroyed and Freeman, Shaxs, and Ransom are off on a special mission. Yeah, there is a lot going on.
