Happy New Year! kellyplanet Upgrades

Happy New Year everybody! There have been a ton of STT upgrades, which is covered in a different post. I woke up at like 5am on New Years Day and decided to overhaul the membership system which I have been meaning to do for a while.

The previous version had been kind of cobbled together over the course of several years. That's not the way to do it. For 2023, all member functions are completely handled by the kellyplanet COMMUNITY, which also includes all the login/out, registration, and password programs. You'll notice the login looks a little different, and uses a reCAPTCHA V2 instead of V3. It's a bit more of a pain, but it is secure. 

One of the problems I was having with the "Frankenstein-esque" system was the proper updating of profile pictures. That's now a thing of the past. 

All the functions for Members, Customers in the Shop, and STT Captains are integrated together on your profile page.
