Cardassian scientists have teamed up with Bajor and the Federation to set up a communications relay through the wormhole. Vedek Yarka shows up to tell the Emissary that a prophecy calls for doom if Sisko allows this to happen.

At this point, Sisko is very NOT about being the Emissary, and Kira realizes how much she really does believe he is a Bajoran religious icon. We get to see a different side of Cardassian society, a Cardassian lady played by Tracy Scoggins, and the second of three times we get Erick Avari.
Yeah, this script was re-written many times, but I think it was fun. There is a great scene between Gilora Rejal and Miles O`Brien in the Jeffries tubes.
