We`re still doing the introductory work with DS9, and we get to know Garak a bit. There is a Bajoran terrorist aboard, so which side will Kira take?

Lursa and B`Etor are in this one, as well as a character played by Vaughn Armstrong. This is worth it for Garak no matter what, but I`m still fighting what is acceptable with copyright claims. As I have mentioned before, there seems to be no rhyme nor reason with this series. I had TNG pretty figured out, give me time.

I summarize the plot and point out and explain all the references so you don’t have to

I wonder if I like the first season more than most people who appreciate the show. I agree with your four Delta rating for Past Prologue. While it’s possible there were too many moving parts with the Duras sisters, introducing The Amazing Garak™️ and the Tahna Los-Kira loyalty dynamic I thought it was a nice way to introduce other characters after the Sisko centric Emissary.

@lordgarth... right on...  Barbara March and Gwynyth Walsh have commented that their appearances on DS9 have not been meaningful (in the grand scheme of things... i love those ladies), though it was a great tie-in to TNG. Garak is f**#^%n' amazing. Andy Robinson comes from the first Hellraiser for me. I mentioned that he played a Cardassian (and only Garak)... more than anyone else, and that includes Mr. Alaimo who has played two. To me, Garak is one of the most exceptional characters in all of 'Trek... in the same context as Data and Spock. No offense to other characters. Damn, Michael Dorn played Worf for eeeeveeerr... and he was great at that

@lordgarth yeah I think it is too early to judge anything. Garak is pretty awesome. I don't remember if the Kohn-ma becomes too much of a thing

@erickelly For me outside of DS9 I will always think of Andy first as Scorpio from Dirty Harry, then as the cop who had a hair across his ass for Stallone in Cobra (also for Brian Thompson, wish he had a bigger role in the seventy three guest appearances he’s been in).

@not-ethan-peck I think this was the only episode in which it was referenced.

@lordgarth Brian Thompson is pretty great. His role as the Klingon second officer when Riker was aboard the Pagh was bigger. And Cobra Commander/Starscream was the captain!

@lordgarth the Kohn-ma would eventually be replaced as "The Circle"... when we get to see Frank Langella
