The Ferengi are trying to make in-roads to the Gamma Quadrant. Quark has a new ally and Grand Nagus Zek is back to give him exclusive rights to all new trade.

That`s right... Wallace Shawn is back as Grand Nagus Zek, Rom is in this one, and Quark might be the at the top of Ferengi society. Brian Thompson is back on `Trek as Inglutu and we don`t get a whole lot of other characters, but Pel is not what he seems... this plot was originally planned for TNG.
