Data and Picard return from a shuttle trip to find the Enterprise adrift. They discover that the entire crew has de-evolved into various primitive species and must fight just to survive.

This is the final appearance of Reginald Barclay on TNG and one of my favorite episodes. Worf becomes a Klingon monster, Riker is a cave man, Barclay a spider - and Michael Westmore does some of the best makeup effects of his career. Oh, and this was directed by Gates McFadden! I am all about Haunted House Enterprise, thank you very much!
