Odo’s still looking for his people with Dax and they stumble on a small colony of Yaderans. The problem is their people keep disappearing. and the Constable and the Trill are going to help them solve the mystery.
This episode has several other plot threads. Kira is busy with Vedek Bareil, and is also keeping an eye on Quark while Odo is gone. Jake has been apprenticing with Chief O’Brien, but has to break it to his dad that he doesn’t want to join Starfleet. This is the first time Springball is mentioned, and that last time we hear about the Dominion before we actually meet them. Noley Thornton is back from TNG (though as a different character), and her interaction with Odo is pretty sweet.
