Some kind of probe came through the wormhole and now the computers are acting up. Bashir is stuck babysitting some ambassadors, and Odo is stuck with Lwaxana Troi.
We get three story threads with this one, and three recurring guest stars. Majel Barrett, Michael Ensign, and Jack Shearer are featured, and this is the first of three DS9 appearances for the widow Roddenberry. She and Odo get stuck in a turbolift for half the show, and that’s a problem when he has to revert back to his natural state.
