Star Trek & Stargate: ERICK AVARI
The first time we see Erick Avari in either franchise is as the Klingon B’iJik during the fifth season of TNG. His most prominent ‘Trek role was probably Vedek Yarka from DS9’s Destiny episode. He also played Jamin in Terra Nova from Enterprise – these were all from the 90’s.
Avari also appeared on SG-1 as Daniel Jackson’s father-in-law from the planet Abydos named Kasuf a total of three times. BUT BEFORE THAT he played that exact same character in the Stargate feature film four years earlier. Of course back then Daniel Jackson was played by James Spader instead of Michael Shanks.
