The Enterprise is docked at Deep Space Nine and Worf finds out his father may still be alive. Keeping with the theme, Data begins dreaming of Noonien Soong after an experiment with Dr. Bashir goes awry.

Two-parters work out pretty well so they did one for no reason. All the Data stuff in this one is not even mentioned in Part 2, which is 99% a Worf episode. All that being said, Birthright is a pretty good crossover show, I just don’t know why it was set up like this.
