They don`t even eat fish. What`s up with that?
Turns out I don`t know squat about these things.
Apparently, they are all over the place, including Pennsylvania. I`ve never seen one.
Sometimes these are called fisher cats, but they`re not cats. Fishers are mustelids, like weasels,
or otters, or wovlerines.
And they don`t eat fish. So why are they called fishers? I guess they resemble European polecats, and the
word for their pelts in several languages sounds like fiche... or fitch.
I dunno.
