I know, why am I talking about Quaker Oats? Well, they have absolutely nothing to do with Quakers.
The company got it`s start in Ohio, then New Jersey, and later Chicago. The point is, never
Pennsylvania... you know... the Quaker State.

In fact, the guy on the box is supposed to be William Penn. I guess he`s ok, but Uncle Ben, Aunt Jemima,
and the Land O`Lakes lady aren`t.

The guy who came up with the advertising a million years ago read a book about Quakers and liked the
association. That`s it. Today it`s owned by Pepsi because Quaker owns Gatorade.
