Star Trek & Stargate: BRIAN MARKINSON

I don`t know if Brian Markinson gets enough credit. It looks like his career is mostly TV and small roles in film. I think he`s a pretty great actor. His first `Trek appearance was as Vorin in the seventh season TNG episode Homeward (with Paul Sorvino as Worf`s brother). He was on Voyager as Lt. Pete Durst twice and then again as the Vidiian Solan in Faces. He made a single appearance on DS9 as Elias Giger - a guy who was convinced people eventually get old and die because our cells get \"bored\".

On SG-1 he played a cloned...um not android, but a programmed character... named Lotan. The situation was Lotan was created to act as liaison between the Gadmeer and Enkaran peoples. The former was taking over the latter`s planet and terraforming it to fit their needs - which would eradicate the Enkarans. It was set up kind-of, sort-of like the Sheliak incident on TNG.
