Star Trek & Stargate: DWIGHT SHULTZ
Hellz yeah gimme some Murdock from the A-Team! (the OG, not Sharlto Copley… he’s a great actor though)
Mr. Shultz has portrayed Lt. Reginald Barclay (autistic?) five times on TNG and six times on Voyager…AND the feature film First Contact. That is…either as Barclay, or the hologram version of said character. Not everyone agrees with me, but I absolutely LOVE ol’ Reg. I recall a comment on an article I did about him years ago – the person was kind of bothered that his name is spelled that way (as opposed to Barkley perhaps).
So what about SG-1? Shultz was a character called “The Keeper” (kind of like Star Trek’s TOS character by the same name). This guy oversaw a bunch of people who were unconscious in a virtual reality world… sort of like Michael McKean’s The Clown character from Voyager… though not malicious.
